How to Reach McLeodganj for the Premium Triund Trek

By Air: Kangra Airport (Gaggal Airport)

Distance from McLeodganj: ~18 km (~45 minutes by taxi).
Kangra Airport has daily flights from Delhi, Chandigarh, and other major cities.
From the airport, you can hire a private taxi or shared cab to reach McLeodganj.

Tip: Booking a taxi in advance is recommended, especially during peak trekking seasons, to avoid waiting times.

By Train: Pathankot Railway Station

Distance from McLeodganj: ~90 km (~3 hours by road).
Pathankot is the nearest major railway station, well-connected to Delhi, Chandigarh, and Amritsar.
From Pathankot, you can take a pre-booked taxi, cab, or bus to McLeod Ganj.

Tip: Volvo buses and shared taxis are available from Pathankot, but private taxis are faster and more convenient for trekkers carrying luggage.

By Road: Direct Road Connectivity

McLeod Ganj is accessible by road from Delhi, Chandigarh, and Shimla.
Distance & Duration:
Delhi to Mcleodganj: ~520 km (~12–14 hours by road)
Chandigarh to Mcleodganj: ~230 km (~6–7 hours by road)
You can travel by Volvo bus, private coach, or self-drive car.
